An original drawing inspired by the Tex Avery directed 1941 Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies cartoon, "Hollywood Steps Out." Featuring Johnny Weissmuller as Tarzan checking his coat with Paulette Goddard, the graphite drawing was created by legendary animation artist Bob Singer. Singer has worked in the industry for many years at several different studios, and founded the character design department at Hanna Barbera Studios. His artistry was used to conceptualize and design many limited editions for the studio with clever concepts similar to this drawing.
