Description
An original drawing inspired by the 1949 Warner Bros. Pictures Looney Tunes short "Henhouse Henery." Featuring Foghorn holding Barnyard Dawg by his fee while teaching Henery Hawk, the graphite drawing was created by legendary animator and artist Bob Singer. The image was intended as a tribute to the creator of Foghorn Leghorn, Bob McKimson. Singer has worked in the industry for many years at several different studios, and founded the character design department at Hanna Barbera Studios. His artistry was used to conceptualize and design many limited editions for the studio with clever concepts similar to this drawing. Measuring 8.5"x11" overall, with the character image measuring 6.75"x9", the drawing is in fine condition. The piece is signed by the artist to the lower right of the image. The drawing comes from Bob Singer's personal collection. The piece is only available for a limited time in conjunction with our April 2023 event, "An Afternoon with Bob Singer." Bob has shared a special collection of his personal artwork for the event, consisting of production layout drawings, book illustration drawings, limited edition concept art, and personal drawings. The collection spans the decades of work created by Singer.
